About
I have helped many individuals and couples overcome major life challenges, relationship problems, personality issues, LGBTQ concerns, anxiety, depression, and a wide range of other psychological and personal issues. I treat adults of all ages, older adolescents, and couples.
My therapeutic approach is Humanistic, Constructive, and Psycho-dynamic. This means that I base my work on who you are and what is valuable to you. I cultivate openness, honesty, and humor with my clients as we identify new ways of looking at problems and patterns of behavior.
Acceptance, creativity, curiosity, and freedom of choice are also professional values I bring to my work. As a result of our work, you can begin to experience initial relief from fear, sadness, guilt, anger, shame, communication issues, and confusion. As you progress, you may begin to find that you have surprising capacities that allow you to solve issues and grow in new ways.
My faith in human growth is unshakable. In me, you have a partner in healing, one who believes in your unique ability to overcome limitations in yourself and in the world. I also believe that therapy is for everyone, so if I am not able to serve you, I will work to connect you with a trusted professional who can.
