I. Group Therapy and Support — I offer uniquely designed groups aimed at helping any group of 5 – 12 people solve an issue, make a decision, formulate an agreement, come to consensus, heal from a loss or conflict, or find a new direction together. Group interventions can consist of 3 – 10 meetings, depending on the purpose and desired outcome. Organizations, businesses, friend groups, classmates, professional or charitable associations, entrepreneurs / start ups, and other configurations of people who call themselves a group or collective can benefit from this form of therapy and support.
II. Career Coaching — Career Coaching is a unique intervention aimed at helping an individual to discover not only what may have gone wrong in a career / job trajectory but also to discover new pathways to fulfillment through work, creativity, productivity, and learning. I work with individuals or small groups of up to 12 people. Coaching requires a strong commitment from the client or group members, and participants must be ready to do exercises and creative explorations outside of the coaching sessions.
III. Family Therapy — Healing and positive change within a family can be facilitated through family therapy. A family group consists of 3 – 7 people who all belong to the same family “system.” A family system can include any grouping of family members who depend on each other or who have impacted each other in significant ways. They may or may not be blood related, but they must consider the other members to be part of their family. For family therapy to be effective, the participants — including children 14 and older — need to show up willingly and be open to change and to helping each other solve the problems that have brought them into therapy. Younger children can participate with parental/guardian consent. The number of sessions required may vary, from 2 – 12 or more, depending on the family’s needs.
IV. Music Therapy Meet-Ups — Kaliko Counseling Services and Audio Pharm Five create simple meet-ups where music plays a key role in helping clients to relax, listen, feel, interact, enjoy music, and make positive connections with self and others. A meet-up can be designed to support a specific outcome or generate an improved emotional or interpersonal experience in a group who may have a collective purpose. An event can include some focused discussion or no discussion, depending on the desired aim. The music we use includes Deep and Progressive House music and other genres of electronic music, all DJ’d by Jonny Kerfuffle. Please inquire about the possibilities.
